Blake Seas purchased Color Pro Printing, Inc. from Mark and Laurie on August 20th, 2007.

Mark and Laurie have enjoyed 10 years of success with Color Pro, and they will be working closely with Blake as they now focus on growing On-Demand Print Center. While the ownership of Color Pro has changed, the same great staff which you have loved to work with will remain and the quality and professionalism which we always deliver will continue.

Over the past 20 years Blake has gained much valuable experience in manufacturing and operations.

This summer Blake and his family moved to Fort Collins from Grand Forks, North Dakota where he was the General Manager for the U.S. division of LMGlasfiber, the world’s largest producer of wind turbine blades. The U.S. division’s sales grew by over 300% during Blake’s 18 month tenure. Blake has fond memories of his team at LMGlasfiber and the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey games at the Ralph Engelstad arena!

Before building wind turbine blades, Blake served as the Director of Manufacturing at the Britton, South Dakota manufacturing plant for Horton, Inc., a global producer of engine cooling solutions for cars and trucks. During his years at Horton, Blake enjoyed working with his team to significantly improve operations by using Lean/Six Sigma tools. Since the Seas family loves to fish, they will dearly miss the fun weekends they had fishing for the big ones!

During his stint with Horton, Blake and his family spent 3 years living in Yuma, Arizona while he served as Plant Manager for Horton’s remanufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico. While working in Mexico, Blake learned to appreciate the Mexican culture especially including the Mexican food!

As if this was not enough, before Blake started to work in manufacturing, he had spent 4 years in the US Navy on a nuclear submarine serving as a nuclear engineer where he fully utilized his mechanical engineering degree. Afterwards, he decided to work as a facilities engineer at a large healthcare facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. While in Sioux Falls, Blake’s wife Cindy, gave birth to their 2 superstar sons, Alex and Marshall.


Blake and his family are excited to work with Mark, Laurie and the employees of Color Pro as it continues to grow and they look forward to working with all of the great customers of Color Pro.
